Q: Do I need a separate membership for my spouse or kids?
A: No. Your membership covers your family (spouse and children under 18)
Q: Can I share my membership with my brother (sister, father, second cousin…)?
A: No. They need their own membership
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes. They will need to pay the $10 guest fee each time. If they are local, they will need to get their own membership.
Q: Do you offer a discounted student membership?
A: Yes. Please signup for a 'student membership' using your school email and bring your Student ID to orientation.
Q: Do you offer a military discount?
A: No.
Q: Do you offer a prorated membership fee for a partial year?
A: No. Each membership is good for one year. Your anniversary date will be one year from your original payment date and renewal will be due at that time.
Q: Are minutes from board meetings available?
A: Yes. Look under the NEWS tab for the latest meeting minutes. Minutes from earlier meetings are available upon request.
Q: Do you offer lessons for beginners?
A: No. However, there are members that offer lessons for a fee. Look on the main page for their contact info. There is also information posted at the range.
Q: Do you offer bow setup/tuning services?

Q: Do you provide storage for my archery equipment?
A: Yes. We have lockers available for rent. Yearly rental is $30. Your FOB will be upgraded to give you access to the storage area. You will need to provide your own lock. The lockers can be modified to make it easier to hang your bow and store your equipment
Q: Can I shoot with broadheads?
A: Yes, if you provide your own target. If you are caught using the club targets with broadheads you will lose your membership.
Q: Are there times when the range is closed?
A: Yes. There are special events such as leagues, youth events and others. These will be posted on the web page and on the RRA Facebook page.
Q: My kids are interested in archery, but I don’t want to buy them equipment unless I know they are going to continue with it. Is there equipment available for them to try archery?
A: Yes. If you are a member, we have a number of youth bows (Mathews Genesis bows), arrows, finger tabs and arm guards available. Ask a board member (get contact info under the BOARD tab on the home page) and arrangements will be made to get you access.
Q: Do Grand Forks schools participate in the National Archery in the Schools (NASP) program?
A: Not at this time. If you or someone you know would like to take on this challenge, contact the RRA board.
Q: Is the range available to rent?
A: Yes and no. We make it available to schools, youth groups and adult training for coaches. It is not available for birthday parties or general rental.
