| History
The Red River Archery Club was founded in 1955. In the fall of 2005 we constructed a 20 yard addition to the end of the range to make it a 40 yard indoor range. We finished the construction by early January. Once the addition was completed we hosted the first annual Frosted Arrow Indoor 3D shoot. We even started a 3D league in the winter. The next summer, we continued with our renovation. Adding a new ventilation system and replacing the lighting and ceiling tiles. We were also able to paint the new addition. In the fall of 2008 we put a new epoxy floor down for the range and the lounge area. One of the members added new bow hangers in the range and above the shelving in the lounge area, in the winter of 2009. In 2015 we moved a storage building from a local business to the back part of our property. We were also able to get the parking area cleaned up and placed new gravel down on a major portion of the property.
We are constantly trying to improve the range and make it a better place to shoot. |
